Pre-Fall 2013/ Burberry Prorsum

Mom and I used to have round of fights over wearing the trench coat, I did not like the heaviness, oversized design, and unflattering cut. Nowadays I enjoy wearing a trench coat, thank you Burberry!

Christopher Bailey has transformed the trench coat into a work of art. Playing with color blocking, adding a leather capelet, a caban with oversize snap closures on the inside, black-on-white dot coats, and calf hair animal print coats. The collection also shows beautiful skirts, shearling bomber, quilted leather jackets, and cute tiny wasted strapless knit dresses.

Pre-Fall 2013/ Givenchy

The ruffles are still going strong  in Riccardo Tisci mind but with an edgy masculine “getting ready for winter” straight cuts and designs.  The edginess was softened with color blocking with delicate lace and geometric shapes. The color palette were sort of expected; grey, brown, tan, black and white. Yet the prints on the sweaters had beautiful warm tones.

Loved the skirt-pant combo, the stitched ruffled pencil skirt, and the one-sleeve long dresses

Hideous ugly men’s sandals and shoes 😦
